Standard Issue Lies

"Oops, a nasty. The jury's still out on the wah-wah guitar ... but like the rest of the songs presented in our spotlight series, it's still in demo form: click of a button, baby.

I've worked out a lot of harmony and stacked vocal parts on the home recording but never got around to adding them to the studio demo. Same goes for the horn section I always hear in my head. I've got my mitts on a couple sets of keyboards and it's quite cool messing about with different sounds and running them through various guitar amps and effects as well. Look Ma, a wah-wah keyboard coming through a Marshall stack! An honest to god freight train barreling down the tracks.
