Summer In The Sun is the first song written for my Alt/Garage/Outlaw Country act The Blacks.
I was lucky enough to be exposed to all kinds of music growing up, radios, jukeboxes and the never-ending stream of talent that showed up at the family home on weekends. Everybody, it seemed, sang or played an instrument or two ...
I came up with the idea for The Blacks because I've written way too many Country flavoured songs to call it a passing phase.
